Students graduate with a Bachelor's Degree. Graduates receive the title of "Physiotherapist". Physiotherapists plan and implement the physiotherapy and rehabilitation program for patients diagnosed by a specialist physician. At the same time, they can create personalized exercise and training programs to increase the quality of life in healthy people and to maintain and improve their health. In this way, they fulfill an approach that has become widespread recently. The approach of protecting health and preventing diseases has enabled the addition of preventive physiotherapy and public health practices to the therapeutic roles of physiotherapists in developed countries in recent years. Therefore, physiotherapists have become an integral part of health goals for everyone. In order to become a physiotherapist, you must have completed a 4-year undergraduate program that provides training for this profession and have the diploma from T.R. It must be approved by the Ministry of Health. To be accepted into the program, candidates must have a high school diploma and the minimum score determined for entry to the program in the centrally held university placement exam. The department accepts students with the numerical score type of the university placement exam YKS. Students who graduate from this program can continue their master's degree and then doctoral programs in fields related to Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation by fulfilling the necessary conditions.
The employment of physiotherapists is possible in many fields of medicine. Students graduating from this program work in hospitals, orthopedics, neurology, neurosurgery, rheumatology, cardiology, cardio-vascular surgery, chest diseases, thoracic surgery, pediatric neurology, geriatrics, audiology, orthosis-prosthesis units, burn centers, anesthesia-reanimation units, plastic and reconstructive surgery, medical ecology and hydroclimatology and physical therapy units.
